ICMP Failed on Xbox 360 Live test
The reason for this part to fail differs along with the difference of the type of connection you are using as follows:
a. Direct connection to modem:
- You should not experience this issue with this type of connection but if it occurred try restarting the modem, and try the service again after 2 or 3 hours.
b. Wired or wireless connection to router:
- Restart the router, then test Xbox Live.
- Try the service again after 2 or 3 hours.
- Call your ISP or router manufacturer to update the router firmware, then test Xbox Live.
c. ICS:
- You should not also experience this issue with this type of connection but if it occurred try restarting all devices so turn you PC, modem and Xbox 360 console off then turn them all on again.
- Try the service again after 2 or 3 hours.
