Xbox 360 sales in Japan

Sales of Microsoft's console hit almost 6,000 units just a week
earlier, driven by the launch of Halo: Reach, but came crashing down
to 2,599 after the game nosedived out of the software top 20.

Elsewhere it was a familiar story. With Pokemon Black & White
currently going mental in Japan , the DS line of handhelds shifted
89,199 units to take first place on the rankings.

In second was PSP with total sales of 38,476 units, a figure likely
boosted by the launch of Sega's Black Panther Yakuza New Chapter,
which entered the software chart in second place. It's also worth
pointing out again that PSPgo continues to be comfortably outsold by
PS2 on a weekly basis.

Hardware sales week ended September 26 (previous week):
DSi: 49,411 (47,379)
PSP: 37,576 (29,866)
DSi LL: 32,777 (31,254)

Wii: 16,908 (14,833)
