Ring of Light Rug...
This is kinda cool, but I almost think it would look better hung on a wall or something. I dont see the purpose of such a small rug. Maybe to sit a kiosk on. Either way its still a cool piece of memorabilia for those looking to have that 360 style all through their house.
Looking for Collectors for the Midwest Gaming Classic
"Collectors - Display Your Games @ the Midwest Gaming Classic '07
Have a great collection you want to show off? If so, the Midwest Gaming Classic '07 (June 9-10, 2007) is looking for more collectors to help make this year's event our best since the convention's inception in 2001.
Every year the Midwest Gaming Classic has set out to have a vast collection of systems on display and sometimes playable in our "museum" area, from decades-old Atari 2600 & Pong machines, to the more uncommon systems like a Super A'Can & PC-FX, to even the more contemporary Xbox 360's & Wii's. In the past the museum has been put together by a few collectors including myself that specialize on a wide variety of gaming consoles, but this year it is our hope to have more collectors collaborate by focusing on specific consoles, publishers/developers, or hardware manufacturers like Nintendo, Sega, and NEC, thereby producing a more complete museum.
So for example, while I personally have something like a Virtual Boy and a few games that I bring as part of the show, another collector that has focused more of their attention on the Virtual Boy could potentially have things like an in-store display unit, marketing materials, and some of the more uncommon games that I might not have, or simply have no room for in my vehicle. By including more collectors with their individual preferences into the show, it is our hope that we can create something truly remarkable this year.
If you've never heard of the Midwest Gaming Classic, it is an annual video game convention held in the Olympia Resort & Conference Center between the Milwaukee, WI and Chicago, IL areas. During the last two events, the convention has attracted more than 1,200 people on average, improving attendance every year since its inception in 2001. The convention is a place where people can play, buy, and sell a variety of different video game-related items including consoles, pinball machines, and stand-up arcades. For more information, you can view the convention's website at www.midwestgamingclassic.com.
If you’re a collector interested in showing at the event, here’s a little more information about the museum area itself:
- Once you contact me and we agree to have you as part of the museum team, you will be given a portion of our allotted space to create a booth in the museum, as well as free admittance. If you’re interested in staying at the resort during the convention, hotel rooms are $94 a night (the same discounted rate I also pay.)
- The convention is a very safe spot to show off your stuff. Since the convention’s inception in 2001, we’ve virtually never had a problem with any sort of theft, and the attendees have generally kept very good care of the items that are playable.
- Despite this exceptionally good track record, we continue to remain proactive by having security present, as well as creating additional theft deterrent devices for this year’s show. Rooms are locked every night.
If you're a collector interested in showing at the event, you may contact me at mwgc_museum@yahoo.com and I can go over any further details.
Thank you for your interest! "

Adam Thole is a Genius, 360 Tilt Controller !
The Hole - video powered by Metacafe
Check out this sweet Xbox 360 controller mod that Adam Thole put together. Of course he put it on eBay. Which is always a smart thing to do. Not only can he probably make a pretty penny but its also great advertisement for the young engineer.
I wonder if this works alright with FPS games.

Lifesize Lara Croft Statue
Standing at 6'6" , this statue will freeze most geeks in their tracks. Meet Lara, your new roomate. Not only is she a great topic of conversation, she also would make a fine coat rack. This statue was for promotional use only for the game Tomb Raider Legend.
Limited Lost Planet Laser Cell
In addition to the action figures and faceplates some people received a limited edition laser cell for Lost Planet. It is only 4x6 inches ,but it still seems pretty nice. I actually did put a bid on this item just because it was pretty cheap. Always keep your eyes on limited items like this because if the game is good the value will only increase in time.

The Kings Is In The House !
"I was at my local BK yesterday ordering a Whopper Jr and noticed they still had the large cardboard stand up of “The King” holding the Xbox 360 controller. This is the cardboard stand up they used to promote the BK Games for the 360. It’s over 6 feet tall. I asked the BK mgr if I could have the stand up and she said “ok”. I thought it would be a great conversation piece for my game room. I am going to put “The King’s” head and hand holding the controller on the wall and trash the rest. It kinda smells like a BK restaurant but isn’t too bad – anyways I plan on keeping it until my wife makes me throw it out." -ezWaffles

GoW
For the ones that follow the Urban Vinyl Trend this is nothing new. Dunny's, Munnies and Qees are all the rage. Going upward from 60 dollars and up, these dudes are extremely collectable and taxing on the pockets.
However, they sell "blank Qees" and Blank Dunnys, meaning they are all white ready for you to custumize at your leasure. This has created a huge wave of artists and designers making their own make on the vinyl toy industry. The biggest and most famous store is Kidrobot sells thousands of these toys.
Now That you have some history, here is a Marcus Fenix Munny created byEmilio Lopez. I am DYING TO GET this! I myself have a blank Munny at home, very very alone. Any ideas?
